propaganda
Don't believe everything you read in a newspaper. Consider the source. Consider their agenda. Making statements such as, "Our elected officials should keep the law too." without any proof as to how they haven't amounts to deceitful propaganda. To name a person as being arrested for taking signs who hasn't been arrested and then to print their personal address is a gross misuse of as a journalist. It's more the ramblings of an emotional blogger than a person dedicated to truth. Be careful what you believe.
A definition of propaganda:
Propaganda refers to information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, that is used to promote or publicize a particular political cause, ideology, individual, or group. The purpose of propaganda is often to shape public opinion, manipulate perceptions, and influence behavior. It can be disseminated through various means, such as media, advertising, speeches, and other communication channels, with the intent of swaying the thoughts and attitudes of a target audience. Propaganda can take the form of persuasive messages, images, or narratives that seek to advance a specific agenda, often by presenting information selectively or by using emotional appeal to evoke particular responses.
